MMCRU Families, With the MMCRU quarterfinal win over Boyden Hull at the HS Boys state basketball tournament, MMCRU will now play on Thursday, March 12 at 3:45pm. We will not have school on Thursday, March 12 and hope to see you at the game. Go Royals

MMCRU will play Boyden-Hull on Tuesday, March 10 at 5:30pm in Des Moines (Casey’s Center) in a Class 1A HS boys basketball state quarterfinal. MMCRU will not have school on Tuesday, March 10. MMCRU will have à 2hr late start on Wednesday, March 11 and our afternoon PD scheduled for Wednesday has been cancelled. School will start at 10:15am and end at 3:25pm. The HS Boys Basketball team will parade through Meridan at approximately 7:35pm. The bus will then go to Cleghorn, then Remsen and finish the parade down Main Street in Marcus. We hope to see you there to welcome our team and congratulate them on qualifying for the state tournament. Go Royals

MMCRU JH Boys Wrestling will attend the Ridge View MS Wrestling meet at Schaller Elementary Gym on Tuesday, March 3. Start time is 4pm

The MMCRU-Marcus Preschool will be hosting a meeting for all families and students enrolling in preschool for the 2026-2027 school year on Monday, March 16, 2026 beginning at 5:30pm. Please contact Mrs. Ames to sign up or for more information.

With the extension of the cold weather warning. MMCRU will have a virtual learning day on Friday, January 23. Updates will be shared out regarding evening activities. Stay warm

Due to the extreme cold warning, MMCRU will have a 2 hour late start tomorrow January 23. No before school activities or breakfast.

Due to the forecasted weather tonight the following changes are occuring: Bowling at Spencer has been postponed. Basketball at South O’Brien will be varsity only with the girls game beginning at 4:30pm. We are working on rescheduling the JV games.
