In 2023, MMCRU kicked off a program called Royal Buddies to provide more outreach and involvement between our elementary schoolers and high school/middle school students. Each month, students sixth grade and up spend time in classrooms of kids ranging from kindergarten to fifth grade. The program has been a great success and students enjoy the opportunity to strengthen bonds for our younger kids. High school sophomore Kamden Bork explains, "It's good for our youth and it helps them to be comfortable around high schoolers. It also builds relationships, which leads to them being better students, humans, and kids." Culture is important at MMCRU and Royal Buddies is no exception!
